By Terry Pratchett, read by Steven Briggs

Again Steven Briggs adds life and character to an already lively book. This is one of Pratchett’s best books (in Brian’s opinion) Listening to it gives the story nuances that you wouldn’t naturally catch while reading. Intelligent and often hilarious, Going Postal – the audio book, is well worth the time spent listening to it.

By Terry Pratchett, read by Steven Briggs

Steven Briggs adds so much life to the Nac Mac Feegle that it’s hard to imagine them any other way when you listen to his rendition. A wonderful children’s book (young adult actually) As with most of Pratchett’s writing, the story of Tiffany Aching stands up to several rereads and even someone else reading it to you. Highly recommended if only just to really figure out what Rob Anybody is saying.

By Michael Chabon, read by the author

A wonderful story. Michael Chabon reads his own work of fantastical fiction. This is everything you hope those other worlds would be. Very heavy in Baseball nomenclature – I don’t know very much about Baseball but I enjoyed this story none-the-less. I would love to read this myself to compare how the book stands up to personal interpretation of characters.
